Helping Your Child Control Anger

Every parent has a moment of feeling overwhelmed and that’s completely natural. In our upcoming class, Helping Your Child Control Anger, you’ll share with other parents the different techniques and ideas on how you help your child, and yourself, manage angry feelings.

Anger and difficulties occur in all children’s lives. That’s why it’s important to properly address these concerns and talk it through with other parents having the same concerns. As a parent, you can learn ways to be more effective, model appropriate responses and most importantly, learn from other parents just like you! Anger has a natural response to embarrassment, hurt feelings, being left out of a group, and other things that can happen with our relationships.

Wise parents learn to teach their children how to respond appropriately to feelings and to master them in a manner that does not alienate others. Join PIC and other parents every Thursday Evening from 6:30-8:00pm at Winship Elementary School Library starting October 24th (4 week series).

Contact PIC office to register for this class: (701) 787-4216 or pic@gfschools.org
